Primary Classes
Our 25-minute classes are designed to keep young learners excited and engaged while they learn Punjabi. Co-taught by the lovable puppet Billoo Bhaji, these interactive sessions incorporate fun games, catchy songs, and lively activities. Our teachers know just how to keep little ones focused while making learning an enjoyable experience!
Level 1 â A Fun Introduction to Punjabi!
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for young learners with little to no prior knowledge of Punjabi. Through interactive activities, students will learn essential skills such as greetings, basic sentence structure, common verbs, colors, and numbers (1-10). They’ll also practice forming simple sentences using location words and possessive terms like Mae and Maira.
With multiple class options available, this is a great way to start building confidence in speaking Punjabi in a fun and supportive environment!

Level 2 â Building Confidence in Punjabi!
This class is perfect for students who know basic greetings but need more practice speaking. Through fun activities, theyâll learn to answer questions with Ha and Nahin, use location words, and understand Mae vs. Maira (I vs. My) and Tu vs. Taira (You vs. Your). Students will also expand their vocabulary with body parts and practice key verbs (eat, drink, watch, play) in the present tense.

Level 3 â Expanding Language Skills!
In this level, students deepen their understanding of Punjabi by learning different forms of Maira (My) and Taira (Your) and when to use them. Theyâll practice forming complex sentences with and/but, telling time (numbers up to 12), and discussing basic weather. Students will also be introduced to the future tense with key verbs like eat, drink, play, see, go, and come.
This class helps learners build stronger sentences and express themselves more naturally in Punjabi!
Level 4 â Growing Conversations in Punjabi!
In this level, students will learn to describe what theyâre wearing and expand their speaking skills to hold short conversations. Theyâll build on their understanding of Maira (My), learn family vocabulary, and use Ehda/Ehdee (His/Her/It) correctly. Students will also practice numbers up to 15 and engage in three-turn conversations to boost their confidence in Punjabi!
Gup Shup
Gup Shup is a fun and engaging Punjabi conversation class designed for primary students (ages 7-9) who have completed at least Level 3. This class is perfect for learners who already know their basicsâcolors, numbers up to 10, and simple sentence formationâand want to continue practicing their Punjabi speaking skills in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Through interactive activities like Calendar Time, games, and guided discussions, students will build confidence, expand their vocabulary, and strengthen their ability to communicate in Punjabi. Gup Shup is all about keeping the conversation going in a fun and meaningful way!
Level 5 â Talking About Food in Punjabi!
This level makes mealtimes a fun way to practice Punjabi! Students will learn common Punjabi foods and use the correct form of Maira/Mairee (My). Theyâll practice using khaa (eat) and pee (drink) in both present and future tenses, as well as explain what someone else wants to eat. A great way to build confidence in everyday conversations!
Level 6 â Talking About Food in the Past!
In this level, students dive into the past tense using khaa (eat) and pee (drink). Theyâll learn to identify food as masculine or feminine, use the correct form of Maira/Mairee (My), and describe flavors with proper endings. By the end of this level, students will confidently talk about what they ate and drank, using khaadaa and peetaa correctly, and explain what someone else had using nay.

Level 7 â Let's Talk About Travel!
In this level, students explore travel-related vocabulary while learning about common Punjabi animals and their gender. Theyâll practice using Maira/Mairee (My) correctly and form sentences with Jaa (go) and Aa (come) in both present and future tenses. Students will also learn when to use Da/Dee and Usee/Tusee. By the end of this level, theyâll be able to hold a three-turn conversation mostly in Punjabi using their new vocabulary!
Level 8 â Talking About the Past!
Building on Level 7, this class helps students describe past events using Jaa (go) and Aa (come) in the past tense. Theyâll practice talking about where they went and where they came from, using the correct verb forms with groups of people. Students will also refine their understanding of masculine and feminine animal names and learn to use ordinal words like Pehla (first), Phir (then), Baad Vich (after), and Aant Vich (at the end) to structure their sentences.
Youth Classes
These fun and dynamic classes are designed to keep students engaged through interactive games, dialogues, and activities. Perfect for learners aged 9-17, each session encourages active participation while helping students build confidence in speaking Punjabi. Youth Level 2B â Build Longer, More Detailed Sentences!
In this continuation of Level 2A, students will refine their grammar skills by mastering adjective endings, singular and plural forms, and possessive pronouns. Theyâll also learn how to use the verb PAA in different tenses (present, past, and future) to form more complex sentences.
By the end of this level, students will confidently participate in three-turn conversations and describe objects and actions in greater detail. This course is perfect for learners ready to expand their Punjabi speaking skills!
Level 3 â Express Yourself with Confidence!
Take your Punjabi conversation skills to the next level! In this course, students will expand their vocabulary with food-related words while mastering gender rules, possessive pronouns, and descriptive language. Theyâll practice using the verbs KHAA (to eat) and PEE (to drink) in different tenses and learn how to correctly use DAY and NAY in sentences.
By the end of this level, students will confidently participate in three-turn conversations and form longer, more detailed sentences with ease!
Level 4 â Speak Punjabi with Ease!
Ready to take your Punjabi to the next level? In this course, students will refine their conversation skills by learning to describe food with proper adjective endings, use ordinal words (first, then, next), and correctly apply possessive pronouns. Theyâll also master the verbs KHAA (to eat) and PEE (to drink) in past tenses and learn the correct use of DAA, VAALAA, and NAY in sentences.
