About Jasleen
Hello Everyone! My name is Ms. Gill and I grew up speaking Punjabi with my parents and grandparents and later learned how to read and write Punjabi in elementary school. This was around the time I fell in love with giddha, bhangra and Punjabi music. I’ve always had a passion for reading, and I loved reading short stories in Punjabi.
During my undergrad at KPU I took a few Punjabi classes that changed the way I thought about learning. These classes were infused with creativity and further infused my passion for learning Punjabi.
I received my BA in Psychology in 2020 from KPU. I completed the teaching program at SFU. I have experience working with kids between the ages of 7-13.
I enjoy making learning fun and creative and I can’t wait to go on this journey with you.
