About Prabjot
I’m an Ontario Certified Teacher and teach at an elementary school in Ontario. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Education degree as well as my Graduate Diploma of Education in Australia. I’ve been working with children for over 14 years and have been teaching for nine years.
I grew up speaking only Punjabi with my parents. Teaching in an area with a large Punjabi population, I often use Punjabi at work to communicate with many families. This has helped me make families feel welcome and build positive relationships with them.
As an educator my goal is to make students feel welcome and build their confidence. I am grateful to my parents for teaching me Punjabi and am excited to pay it forward by working with Punjabi Pathways. I look forward to working with families to inspire their children to learn Punjabi.
